Rules and Regulations

Any deviation from the rules listed below will be viewed seriously.
- Punctuality and regularity in attending school should be maintained.
- Pupils should be always be polite and courteous in speech, actions and respect Teachers and elders.
- Pupils should reach the school at least ten minutes before the commencement of the assembly.
- Neatness in uniform and general cleanliness will be insisted upon.
- Nails should be trimmed and nail polish should not be used. Wearing of jewellery except on the ears is not allowed. Boys should carry a short and tidy crop.
- Pupils should submit the assignments and projects to the teachers regularly and on time.
- A pupil must not be absent himself/herself from Unit Test / Examinations without getting prior permission from the principal in writing.
- Pupils must apply for leave only when it is absolutely essential and the leave letter submitted to the class teachers well in advance unless it is an emergency
GENERAL RULES
- Parents must use the School Diary as a means of communication between home and school.
- Students are not permitted to attend school if they are improperly dressed.
- Should never be in the campus with sandals or slippers without a medical slip.
- Not permitted for any type of Mushroom style and any other fancy haircuts.
- Students are answerable to the school for their conduct both inside and outside the school campus. Therefore, misbehavior in public places justifies suspension or expulsion.
- The possession of any kind of weapon in school or ganging up with others from outside the school also justifies expulsion.
- Irregular attendance, disobedience, disrespect, and insolence to any member of the staff may be enough for suspension and eventual expulsion.
- Students must come to school neatly dressed and in proper school uniform conforming to school rules. If a student does not conform to school rules, he/she may be sent home or a new set of uniforms ordered at the expense of the parents after a warning. If repeated, they shall be sent home, or they shall not be allowed to attend classes until they conform to the school rules.
- Forbidden literature is not permitted in the school. Strict action will be taken against erring students, and parents will be called to the school to give an explanation.
- Students are not permitted to wear or have any kind of jewelry. Finger rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, etc., are not allowed to be worn.
- Keeping expensive items is not permitted. The school cannot be held responsible for any loss of such items.
- The breaking or damaging of school property, including furniture, garden plants/trees, light fittings, window panes, writing on walls, etc., is prohibited. Erring students will be fined and made to pay the value of the term broken or damaged. Frequent repetitions of the above will justify expulsion from the school.
- Stealing is a serious offense. Any student caught stealing will be severely dealt with. If an erring student continues such acts, he/she will be suspended or expelled.
- English must be spoken at all times. Students will not swear or verbally abuse anybody. Strict action will be taken against those who do not obey.
- While visiting the campus, parents are warned not to litter. It would be appreciated if plastic bags are not brought onto the campus. Parents are also informed not to smoke or chew tobacco within school premises.
- Individuals can best hope to achieve their potential when school and parents work together to support them. Parents are encouraged to visit the school and attend functions, especially on open house days, to discuss their child’s progress.
- The use of cellular phones or any electronic devices for all students is strictly forbidden. Parents are requested NOT to give their children a mobile phone. If a child is found with a mobile, he/she will be suspended for seven working days immediately, and the cellular phone will be confiscated permanently. Mobile phones will be kept in the school for 10 days, and a fine of ₹500 will be charged for library donation.
- The events in the calendar are subject to change as and when required.
- Students are not permitted to enter the school premises driving a car, riding a motorcycle, or scooter.
- Girls with hair longer than shoulder length MUST plait it. No ponytails or loose hair will be permitted. All girls must wear a hairband to keep their hair pulled back.
RULES FOR PARENTS
Parents are requested to ensure that:
- Children come to school regularly, punctually, and neatly dressed in regular uniform. No colored jackets, socks, hairbands, shoes, leggings, etc., are to be worn.
- Boys have proper haircuts, and girls have their nails trimmed. No nail paint, proper nails only.
- No appointments are made for their children during school hours, and no leave is asked for children during school working days—plan holidays, wedding ceremonies, pujas, etc., according to the school calendar. However, in case of emergencies, leave should be notified through an application addressed to the Principal, mentioning the name, class, and section of the pupil.
- Children maintain and bring the required text and exercise books to school and carry their books according to the timetable so that they are not overburdened.
- Homework is to be done regularly.
- School fees are to be paid on time. Any delay would warrant a fine of ₹100 per day, beginning a day after the due date. No argument in this respect will be entertained.
